What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Paraprofessional (BZ) position at Bellevue Public Schools?
Applications are being accepted for a 7 hour per day Health Paraprofessional position at Betz Elementary School. Candidate must have or be able to obtain certification in first aid/CPR on an ongoing basis. Duties include providing immediate physical assistance to children with emergency health needs, dispensing medications, and performing general office duties. Candidates must have accurate record-keeping, organizational, and communication skills. The ability to work with students is essential for this position. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, scheduling health screenings and responsibilities related to the physical care and safety of students. Required qualifications are that the applicant not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others, with or without reasonable accommodations, and must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned and for the duration of the assignment. This position is subject to a veterans' preference. Duty hours are typically Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
