Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner based in Bellevue, WA, with flexibility for some remote work. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess, diagnose, and manage mental health conditions, providing compassionate and evidence-based psychiatric care to patients. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and offering patient education to support mental health recovery and wellness.
Qualifications
- Mental Health Nursing and Psychiatric Care expertise
- Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on Mental Health Care
- Experience in diagnosing, treating, and managing a variety of mental health conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nursing (APRNs preferred)
- Current and valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Experience with telehealth platforms is a plus
