What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Daycare & Store Attendant - Part Time position at Bellevue Pampered Pet Spa?
We are looking for a dependable team player to work in our Dog Daycare as well as cover the front desk and cleaning.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor dogs in a daycare setting to ensure their safety and well-being
- Engage and interact with dogs through play, exercise, and socialization activities
- Clean and maintain our facility
- Monitor and report any changes in behavior or health conditions of the dogs
- Assist with checking in/out dogs.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of dog behavior, handling techniques, and basic training principles
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and effectively
- Strong customer service skills to interact with dog owners / customers
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time
