Medical Assistant (CMA or MA-R)

Bellevue Pain and Wellness, PLLC, a high end interventional pain management office is now looking to hire a professional and experienced Medical Assistant who can also help at the front desk, in a full-time capacity at our office.

The Medical Assistant will have a wide range of clinical duties, including:

• Preparing for procedures
• Assisting with procedures while maintaining sterility
• Assisting with the reception duties
• Answering calls, emails, faxes, and other communcation.
• Sorting faxes
• Submitting prior authorizations as well as PA management.
• Collecting payment
• Scheduling patients
• Intaking patients
• Taking vital signs
• Keeping accurate records
• Taking out IVs
• Deep cleaning clinic
• Cleaning office rooms between patients
• Deep cleaning office rooms at end or beginning of the day
• Organizing supplies
• Keeping confidentiality of data
• Coordinating care with other offices and pharmacies
• Administrating tests and documenting results
• and other duties assigned

To be strongly considered:
1. Have an active Washington state Certified Medical Assistant License or Registered Medical Assistant License- or ability to get one. We can sponsor R-MA.

2. Prior experience working in a private procedure based office. Understanding sterile technique is a necessity.

3. Have been working two years working as a Medical Assistant.

4. Must be able to work as a team member as well as independently

5. Must be able to multitask while keeping a high standard of excellence

Compensation ranges between $27-$32/hr and will be based on experience.

Must pass a post-offer/pre-employment background check and drug test.
