Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pharmacist to manage medication dispensing, provide patient counseling, and ensure safe and effective medication use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Counsel patients on proper medication usage, side effects, and drug interactions.
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and legality.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage inventory and order medications as needed.
Qualifications:
- PharmD or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
- Valid state pharmacist license.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting.
- Experience with MicroMerchant Systems (PrimeRX) (preferred, not required)
