SUBSTITUTE CAFETERIA ASSISTANT 4 hrs/daily, Monday-Friday, approximately 10:30AM-2:30PM Short-term and on call as needed DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: Assist head cook/manager with daily food service operations for the single-school district's breakfast and lunch program, including washing/cleaning and assisting in basic food preparation and food serving. QUALIFICATIONS: (in accordance with USDA Professional Standards for State and Local School Nutrition Program Personnel) - Valid California driver's license and proof of insurance is required. - Valid Serve Safe certification is required - At least one year of paid or unpaid experience in commercial or institutional quantity food preparation, including the preparation and serving of at least 100 meals per day is desirable. - Good work history, demonstrating verifiable reliability, and good work habits. ABOUT BELLEVIEW: Belleview Elementary School is a rural, single-school district nestled in a beautiful mountain setting in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. Belleview School, often referred to as “The Jewel of the Sierras,” is a wonderful place to learn and work, serving approximately 160 students in grades Preschool through 8th grade.
