Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
- Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts with multiple tables or bar stations
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service best practices
- Basic math skills for processing payments and calculating bills accurately
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain training prior to employment
- Previous experience with food handling, sanitation standards, and hospitality best practices
