The Junior Merchandise Planner & Allocator plays a pivotal role in our supply chain operations, overseeing various aspects from collection planning to stock optimization and data-driven decision-making. Reporting to the merchandise planning manager, this position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and enhance efficiency.

Department: Supply Chain and Data Analysis

Reports To: Merchandise planning manager

Main responsibilities

• Collaborate with stylists and production teams to create and refine the collection plan.
• Forecast product level demand across different channels before initiating production orders.
• Identify best-selling items and facilitate quick in-season reorders.
• Optimize assortments among channels and stores, taking into account store capacity and local demand for Bellerose products and invited brands.
• Supervise automated replenishment and stock balancing to maximize sell-through.
• Efficiently manage the liquidation of leftover merchandise, optimizing margins and sell-through rates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate specific topics when necessary.
• Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance predictability and actionability
  
  

Profile

• In-depth understanding of our three distribution channels (Retail, E-commerce, and Wholesale) to extract actionable insights.
• Proficiency in data analytics, including the ability to navigate various systems and tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
