Duties
- Prepare pizza dough from scratch, ensuring proper consistency and texture for optimal baking results
- Operate various kitchen equipment, ovens, and slicing tools with precision and safety
- Follow established recipes and menu plans to create consistent, flavorful pizzas that meet quality standards
- Top pizzas with fresh ingredients, cheeses, sauces, and other toppings according to customer specifications or menu guidelines
- Maintain strict food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a hygienic workspace and safe food handling practices
- Assist in food production tasks such as braising, poaching, grilling, and food preparation for various menu items
- Support the team in meal preparation and catering events as needed while adhering to recipe adherence and portion control standards
Experience
- Experience including food handling, food safety management, and operating kitchen equipment required
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to food safety sanitizing procedures and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Skills in knife handling, food production techniques such as braising and poaching, and familiarity with fine dining or catering experience are highly valued
