Job Description: Medical Assistant - Belle Vie Wellness & Medical Aesthetics

Position Overview:

Belle Vie Wellness & Medical Aesthetics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Medical Assistant at Belle Vie, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support in a med spa environment. Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care: Assist medical and aesthetic providers in delivering high-quality patient care during consultations, treatments, and procedures.

2. Clinical Procedures: Perform a range of duties, including preparing treatment rooms, assisting with wellness shots, and cool sculpting, and ensuring a safe and sterile environment.

3. Patient Education: Educate patients about pre-and post-treatment care, answer their questions, and provide information on skincare routines and wellness recommendations.

4. Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, documenting patient information, treatments, and other pertinent details.

5. Medical Inventory: Manage and restock medical supplies, skincare products, and equipment as needed, ensuring availability for treatments and procedures.

6. Patient Communication: Interact with patients professionally, empathetically, and respectfully, providing a warm and caring atmosphere.

7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including, nurse practitioners, nurses, administrative staff, and management team to provide comprehensive patient care.

8. Compliance: Comply with all med spa policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality.

9. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical aesthetics and wellness practices through ongoing education and training.

Requirements:

1. Medical Assistant Certification: Possess a valid Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program.

2. Clinical Experience: Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical spa, dermatology clinic, or aesthetic practice is advantageous.

3. Skincare Knowledge: Familiarity with skincare treatments, products, and aesthetic procedures is a plus.

4. Patient-Focused: Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional patient care with a focus on customer service.

5. Multitasking Abilities: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

6. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and the healthcare team.

7. Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in patient documentation and treatment procedures.

8. Ethical Practice: Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.

9. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate patient scheduling needs.
