Belle Haven Animal Medical Centre is an AAHA accredited hospital seeking a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. We take pride in providing high quality medicine, excellent patient care, and a supportive environment for both our team and our clients.
This position supports veterinarians and technicians in providing comprehensive medical care while ensuring a positive experience for clients and patients. Responsibilities include assisting with exams and procedures, patient handling and restraint, preparing rooms, monitoring patients, maintaining hospital cleanliness, supporting lab and pharmacy tasks, and educating clients on basic care instructions.
The ideal candidate is organized, team oriented, comfortable working in a fast paced environment, and passionate about animal care. Previous veterinary experience is preferred but not required. Weekend availability is required.
