Host/Hostess Responsibilities:

  • All guests must be treated in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction
  • Provide accurate wait times and recommend wait options (seating at the bar)
  • Walk guests to the tables advising them of the servers' name and daily special
  • Mange wait times and reservations
  • Great customers upon their arrival and bid farewell upon their departure
  • Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
  • Maintain a clean reception area
  • Maintain restroom cleanliness with 15-minute checks
  • Cater to guests who require extra assistance
  • Answer incoming calls and address guests inquires
  • Assist in racking/polishing/rolling silverware when needed
  • Assist the wait staff as needed
