Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Bellavance Trucking Inc. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficiency and cleanliness of our yards, trailers, and truck wash facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pre-trip trailers and fuel reefers, washing and sanitizing when necessary, and spotting them in the designated yard.
- Identify and flag trailers requiring maintenance at Spaulding yard.
- Operate trailers through the truck wash facility as needed.
- Provide customer washouts at the truck wash facility.
- Maintain cleanliness of the wash bay as required.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly checks on the truck wash and gantry equipment.
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks such as emptying trash/recycling, plowing snow, unloading deliveries, and conducting daily, weekly, and spring cleaning inside and outside.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Take ownership and assume responsibility for assigned projects, including clean-up and non-mechanical tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Acknowledge and adhere to company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety.
- Demonstrate punctuality and maintain a valid CDL Class A driver's license.
