Job Description
Purpose: To efficiently find the most profitable return load while mindfully reducing wait times for our drivers.
Key Responsibilities:

Purpose: To efficiently find the most profitable return load while mindfully reducing wait times for our drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the load planner, who tells you the location and number of trucks needing a load.
- Familiar with load boards such as DAT.
- Knowledgeable of the spot rates to move freight for the right price.
- Build relationships with these brokers so they look to Bellavance first to move freight.
- Works closely with company dispatchers to pass along pertinent information to the driver.
- Make it a priority to track these loads.
- Knowledge of HOS.
- Build the freight bill once the load has been booked.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical skills.
