Position: Technical Architect (Agentic Biomedical Research Platform)
Location: Waukegan, IL (Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite)

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Technical Architect to design and integrate an Agentic AI biomedical research platform into AWS. The role focuses on AWS architecture, AI integration, containerized environments, security, governance, and cloud scalability. The ideal candidate has strong AWS implementation experience combined with hands-on Agentic AI development.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong AWS Solutions/Technical Architecture experience.
- Hands-on Agentic AI development experience.
- AWS EKS, ECS, S3, DocumentDB, Bedrock, FSx, ELB/ALB.
- Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- GitOps, Argo CD, CI/CD, and DevOps.
- Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and automation.
- Prometheus, Grafana, monitoring, and observability.
- Cloud networking, security, IAM, storage, and autoscaling.
- Cloud/hybrid HPC architecture knowledge.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration.
- Master's 5 years or Bachelor's 7 years of relevant experience (experience prioritized over degree).
Preferred: AWS certifications, hands-on HPC/parallel clusters, biomedical research, and pharmaceutical or regulated industry experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design and lead AWS architecture for an Agentic AI research platform.
- Integrate AI research software with existing cloud systems.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads using EKS/ECS.
- Implement cloud security, governance, and infrastructure automation.
- Design scalable cloud/HPC solutions and optimize costs.
- Collaborate with engineering, scientific, and business teams.
