We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager specializing in Residential Roofing to lead our sales initiatives and expand our market presence. Responsibilities
- Recruiting and onboarding sales representatives
- Lead outside sales efforts by identifying and pursuing new residential roofing projects through cold calling, lead generation, and territory management.
- Manage customer accounts to ensure satisfaction, retention, and upselling opportunities, utilizing CRM software to track interactions and sales progress.
- Training sales reps on sales process
- Onsite field coaching
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and project terms with clients to close deals effectively while maintaining profitability.
- Oversee territory management activities including scheduling appointments, managing inside sales processes.
- Collaborate with management to develop sales strategies that align with company goals while providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, or technical sales within the roofing or construction industry.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead a sales team effectively while managing your own territory.
- Expertise in business development, account management, and territory management to maximize growth opportunities.
- Proficiency with CRM software such as Sugar or similar platforms for lead generation and customer relationship tracking.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a customer-focused approach to deliver tailored roofing solutions.
- Strong analysis skills for evaluating market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
- A high standard of honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct with homeowners, adjusters, and internal teams
- Effective communication skills for face to face sales, conducting inspections, and building long-term client relationships.
