Role Description
Seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal with extensive knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure. Must be able to handle civil lawsuits from inception through judgment with a thorough understanding of trial preparation, rules of evidence, deadlines, and court procedures. Candidates must have at minimum 3 years of experience leading civil litigation suits in Texas. Familiarity with the Texas Tax Code and/or Chapter 33 Foreclosures is a plus.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week, M-F), in-office position that offers long-term stability, predictable hours, and sophisticated litigation work within a highly specialized Texas practice.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable independently managing a large litigation caseload in a deadline-driven environment. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, ownership mentality, and the ability to coordinate efficiently across multiple courts and jurisdictions throughout Texas.

Our firm represents institutional clients in specialized areas of Texas tax and foreclosure litigation. Because we do not market to the general public or accept consumer-facing matters, we maintain a limited public presence.

Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in tax suit and foreclosure litigation
- Manage cases on designated accounts, including but not limited to scheduling settings, preparing attorneys for settings, assisting with evidence preparation, and facilitating client communications on cases
- Track settings and deadlines across multiple systems
- Organize and maintain case files and documents using document management systems
- Prepare and file legal documents with the court
- Maintain firm databases related to tracking client accounts, business metrics, and tracking various local and statewide court procedures
- Correspond with district clerks to ensure the accuracy and success of ongoing case filings
- Draft correspondence, memos, and other legal documents as needed
- Coordinate with court staff and opposing counsel across the entire state on assigned cases
- E-filing case documents
- Perform miscellaneous and ongoing research to assist attorneys
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree. Equivalent litigation experience considered in lieu of degree
- Proven experience as a Litigation Paralegal (3 years minimum)
- Ability to learn quickly
- Proficient in using document management systems and legal case management software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, efficiently prioritize work, and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with legal drafting techniques and terminology
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
