What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Medication Aide (RMA) Lead - 3rd shift position at Bellaire at Stone Port?
Responsibilities:
- Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), supports coordination of the medication aide and nursing aide schedule
- Assists with various clerical duties as requested
- Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
- Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
- Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must hold certification indicating successful completion of Registered Medication Aide (RMA) program in the State of Virginia
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
