About Bella View Farm Animal Sanctuary

Bella View Farm Animal Sanctuary provides a lifelong home for rescued farm animals, many of whom have permanent disabilities and require individualized care and daily support.

We are looking for a reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented person to join our morning feeding team.

This is not a typical farm feeding position. Many of our animals have specific dietary needs, individualized feeding instructions, and established routines that must be followed carefully. Feeding here involves much more than simply filling bowls and distributing hay.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute feed according to established instructions for each animal or animal group.
• Follow individualized feeding routines for animals with disabilities.
• Provide fresh water and hay as directed.
• Observe animals during morning feeding and promptly report any changes in appetite, behavior, or condition.
• Follow established feeding schedules, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of feeding areas and supplies.
• Complete assigned morning feeding responsibilities accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, and committed to the assigned schedule.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working around goats, sheep, poultry, and other rescued farm animals.
• Able to work independently after training.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to manage time effectively and complete assigned responsibilities within the scheduled shift.
• Previous animal care experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Important to Know

Our animals depend on consistent, attentive care every single day. We need someone who takes that responsibility seriously, follows established procedures, and understands that accuracy and reliability are essential.

This is a hands-on working sanctuary, not a petting farm or a casual animal interaction position.

Applicants must be available all three mornings: Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday, from 8 AM to 11 AM.

If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in providing meaningful daily care for rescued animals, we’d love to hear from you.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9.0 per week

People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply

Application Question(s):

• This position requires a consistent commitment every Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, including holidays, and inclement weather. Are you available and willing to work all three mornings on an ongoing basis?

Work Location: In person

Salary : $15
