Job Summary:
We’re seeking a reliable and versatile Culinary Operations Associate to join our small but fast-paced kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable wearing many hats — from food prep and cooking to dishwashing and expediting. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly, efficiently, and with care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients and assist in daily food prep according to recipes and standards
- Cook menu items as directed, ensuring quality and consistency
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness standards
- Assist in expediting and plating orders during service
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety guidelines
- Receive and store deliveries; rotate stock and manage inventory as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred, but not required
- Comfortable with multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Positive attitude and team-player mentality
