Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bartender who can confidently operate both on the dining room floor and behind the bar. This is a dual-role position requiring strong service skills, beverage knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

• Welcome and greet guests warmly
• Build relationships with regulars by remembering names, preferences, and needs
• Guide guests through menu selections, specials, and beverage pairings
• Answer questions about food preparation, ingredients, and allergens
• Deliver food and beverages accurately and in a timely manner
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns professionally

Beverage & Bar Service

• Prepare classic and house cocktails consistently
• Demonstrate knowledge of wines, varietals, beer selections, and spirits
• Recommend appropriate pairings based on guest preferences
• Maintain proper bar sanitation and organization
• Follow all Arkansas alcoholic beverage laws and company policies

Operational Standards

• Maintain cash bank and follow all established cash-handling procedures
• Accurately operate the POS system
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all health codes and food safety guidelines
• Support team members during peak service periods
• Assist with opening and closing duties

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 2 years restaurant or hospitality experience
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
• Strong English communication skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Weekend and holiday availability

Preferred:

• Wine knowledge (varietals and pairings)
• Craft cocktail experience
• Upscale or high-volume dining experience
• POS proficiency
