Bella's Kitchen Wellness is a growing, locally-owned food company serving schools, families, and organizations throughout Central Arkansas. We prepare fresh, made-from-scratch meals with a focus on quality, consistency, and hospitality.
We are seeking an experienced Production Cook to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and enjoys working in a structured, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Unlike traditional restaurant kitchens, our team works primarily daytime hours, Monday through Friday (7am-3pm), allowing for a strong work-life balance while still producing high-quality food at scale.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and production schedules
- Assist with food preparation, portioning, packaging, and meal assembly
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist with inventory counts and product rotation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
- Support catering, school lunch production, and meal prep operations as needed
- Work closely with kitchen leadership to ensure timely and accurate production
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional kitchen, catering, cafeteria, or high-volume food service experience
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Preferred Qualifications
- ServSafe certification
- Experience with batch cooking or large-volume food production
- Experience in school, hospital, catering, or commissary kitchens

Compensation
