Waitress/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waitress/Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server/Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance culinary knowledge and service skills.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
• Culinary experience or fine dining experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $15.50 per hour
