Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders in person or over the phone.
- Handle food preparation tasks efficiently, including assembling orders and maintaining food safety standards.
- Manage cash register operations, process cash and card transactions accurately, and handle cash handling duties with integrity.
- Upsell menu items or retail products to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations at all times.
- Ensure quick service by managing customer orders promptly, accurately, and with a positive attitude.
- Assist in food handling, serving, and basic food safety management to uphold high-quality standards.
- Support retail sales transactions, including processing payments and providing excellent customer service at the counter.
Skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Previous experience in retail sales transactions or cashiering is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments such as quick service or fast food restaurants.
