Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will want to become part of our Teddy's family. As a key member of our team, you will craft drinks, serve guests, and ensure an enjoyable experience in a lively environment. Experience with POS systems will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
- Manage POS transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth operations
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, including checking IDs and managing intoxicated guests
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours, banquets, or catering events
- Assist in setting up for events or special functions as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments such as restaurants, bars, nightclubs, or banquet settings is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is desirable
- Strong skills in time management, sales, and customer service are essential for success in this role
- Experience with food safety standards, food handling, and proper beverage serving techniques is advantageous
- Knowledge of retail math, basic math skills, cash handling, and hospitality operations will support effective performance
- Prior experience working in the food industry or catering environments is a plus
