Key Responsibilities:
- Serving Drinks:Mixing cocktails and pouring drinks according to recipes or customer requests, serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Customer Service:Greeting guests, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience at the bar.
- Bar Operations:Managing the bar area, stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
- Cash Handling:Processing payments, handling cash transactions, and managing tabs.
- Inventory Management:Monitoring inventory levels, restocking supplies, and potentially assisting with ordering.
- Compliance:Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
- Communication:Working effectively with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth service.
Essential Skills:
- Mixology Knowledge: Understanding of different types of beverages, cocktail recipes, and drink preparation techniques.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Speed and Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and efficiently, especially during busy periods.
