Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator / Crew Lead who can independently run small crews handling residential foundation digs and utility installations. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and capable of completing projects with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Lead a small crew performing excavation and utility installations
- Conduct site layout, trenching, grading, and backfilling operations
- Read and interpret plans, grades, and layouts accurately
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and project managers
- Maintain safety and productivity on every job site
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
