Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth operations within the restaurant. The job will require hosting, bussing and food running duties during slower times. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
• Provide menus and explain specials to guests while answering any questions they may have.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
• Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery.
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, including reservations and general information about the restaurant.
• Address guest concerns or complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous host experience or relevant food service experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving practices and guest services.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A background in hospitality or hotel services is advantageous but not required.
