Position – Assisted Living Activity Assistant
Location: Bell Tower Residence – Merrill, WI (On-site)
Status: Full-time | Part-Time
Schedule: Days (7:30am-4:00pm) |One weekend a month| One Holiday a year

Job Summary:
An Activity Assistant at Bell Tower Residence is compassionate and dependable. In this role, you will provide activities to our seniors while promoting resident dignity and independence. Activity Assistants also monitor resident well-being, communicate changes to the care team, and help create a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and committed to delivering appropriate and engaging activities to seniors and individuals in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead designated activities with individuals with varying degrees of physical and cognitive abilities.
- Encourage residents to attend and participated in activities.
- Assist residents to and from activities as well as assisting as needed to aid in their participation.
- Visit with Residents individually or in group settings.
- Document resident participation in activities.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a long-term care setting
