Duties
- Set up and operate press brake machines, ensuring accurate bending according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings
- Use precision measuring instruments such as a tape measure
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, and tooling alignment for optimal performance and accuracy
- Conduct routine inspections of finished parts for defects or deviations from specifications, utilizing quality inspection tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols including proper use of hand tools, cranes, forklifts, and other equipment
Experience
- Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Ability to utilize hand tools, tooling setups, cranes, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment safely and effectively
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately
- Prior experience working with quality inspection protocols to ensure product conformity
- Familiarity with safety standards related to machining operations and material handling
