About the Role:
Bell Mechanical Services is seeking a dependable, skilled HVAC Technician with 1–3 years of real hands-on experience in service, repair, maintenance, or installation. You will work on both residential and commercial systems, troubleshoot equipment, and provide exceptional customer service.
This role is ideal for techs who are past the apprentice level but not yet senior/lead techs.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems (residential & commercial)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical HVAC components
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment cleanings
- Communicate effectively with customers and the dispatch team
- Generate invoices and service documentation as needed
- Rotate on-call schedule (nights/weekends)
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Attend weekly technical training and development sessions
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of hands-on HVAC experience (service, maintenance, or installation)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot HVAC equipment independently
- EPA certification (or ability to obtain shortly)
- NATE certification a plus
- Clean driving record (company vehicle provided)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Capable of lifting 75 lbs., climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
