Overview
Our multi-company organization is seeking a qualified individual to fill our banking position. The banking position is responsible for timely and accurate processing of accounts using QuickBooks Software and Microsoft Excel. This includes processing accounts payable invoices for multiple entities within our organization. The banking position is responsible for maintaining multiple bank accounts in good standing and covering day-to-day transactions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Daily Reconciliation of bank accounts, drafts, and credits.
- Bank balance and outstanding check tracking with spreadsheets.
- Check writing with QuickBooks.
- Charges expenses to proper accounts by analyzing invoice/expense reports.
- Prepares daily cash analysis reports.
- Maintains good filing of documents.
- Protects organization’s integrity by keeping information confidential.
- Accomplishes accounting and organization by completing related tasks as needed.
- Supports accounting personnel as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Account Reconciliations.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Good with basic math.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- General understanding of the general ledger accounts and how they relate to invoices.
- Attention to detail.
- Professional, team player attitude.
- Above average initiative and communication skills.
- Sense of urgency and prioritizing.
- 2 years relevant experience working in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, or general ledger
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
