Aircraft Services Team - Piney Flats, TN

In this position, you’ll be an integral part of the team, performing a variety of tasks such as aircraft installations, inspections, fabrication, and modification, all in accordance with applicable data and customer specifications.
What You’ll Be Doing As a Structures Mechanic
- Perform disassembly and reassembly of aircraft, scheduled inspections, and Alert Service Bulletins.
- Perform major and minor repairs and alterations to the aircraft structure, including sheet metal and composite repairs and fabrications.
- Fabricate mounting brackets, and measure, drill, and modify aircraft structures without causing damage to structure or underlying components.
- Document all work accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
- Work overtime as required.
- 2 years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic; must include structures experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- FAA A&P Certificate is preferred.
- Maintenance experience on Bell commercial models and/or Bell field maintenance courses preferred.
- Must provide own tools.
- Ability to perform job duties, including basic measuring, drilling, and fabrication tasks.
- Ability to work from detailed documents, technical manuals, and blueprints.
- Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment with strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs, ladders and work stands.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
- Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
- Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
- Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
