Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fire Extinguisher Technicians for the inspection, testing and maintenance of hand portable fire extinguishers, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Conduct installation, maintenance, and repair of fire portable fire extinguishers
- Perform the inspections to ensure compliance with recognized codes and local regulations
- Hydrostatic testing and recharging of portable fire extinguishers
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment for testing and repairs
- Collaborate with clients to provide technical support and recommendations
- Complete service reports accurately and in a timely manner
Experience:
- Prior experience as a fire extinguisher technician is helpful
- Knowledge of codes related to fire protection systems is a plus
- Background in inspection is advantageous
- Previous experience as a service technician in the fire protection industry
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
