The PCM is responsible for the ensuring that good manufacturing practice is being performed to ensure that a safe and high-quality product is being produced.
Summary of Responsibilities: Include the following: other duties make be assigned.
- Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are being produced; reporting any deficiencies that are found.
- Interpret and enforce good manufacturing practice (PCM), regulations, and procedures to ensure food safety standards are met
- Maintain records that would confirm that good manufacturing practices are being implemented
- Other duties may be assigned at the request of the 1st Processing Superintendent
Qualifications and Demands
For the individual to be successful in this department, they must possess the ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members. Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must possess basic computer skills as well as have a strong attention to detail. The individual must be able to perform all required duties under minimal supervision. Education and/or Experience: (Due to the high volume of applicants, only those who meet the minimum qualifications will be selected for interviews)
High Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months of experience and/or training; or the combination equivalent of both education and experience.
