Production Clerk
JOB SUMMARY: The Production Clerk’s primary function is to execute the direction of the scheduling team. They will be providing direction directly to the supervisor and leads on the floor, communicating priorities and changes throughout the shift. They will work with the team on the floor to align team members with the schedule, address any concerns, and balance raw material allocation to optimize throughput and labor efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Set up, maintain and adjust the PDS system based on line cards and priorities
- Monitor and document any deviations on the Web Tool monitoring system
- Execute adjustments for Plant floor in Innova , ie) adjusting/adding items to schedule qty , moving schedules to scales etc.
- Review, monitor, and escalate schedule attainment concerns.
- Verify and distribute 1st processing data and reports.
- Update and distribute Plant floor data and reports.
- Complete schedules in ERP when applicable
- Create, Monitor progress and execute Line cards for assigned areas
- Learn all aspects of production scheduling function and act as a back up in this area
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- One to Three years related work experience.
- Strong knowledge of Manufacturing, preferable in line connected systems.
- An ambitious and experienced leader that utilizes cross-functional collaboration to achieve results. Capable of influencing at multiple organization levels – up and down
- Experience with the day-to-day business process in supply chain principles
- Ability to handle competing priorities and tasks, ambiguity and remain organized to meet deadlines.
6-12 months of employment history required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Excellent quantitative analysis skills. Expertise in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, BI
Software implementation and upgrade experience
ERP experience Preferred; Microsoft Business Dynamics experience a plus
