Business Development Representative
Bell Contracting, Inc. is an established federal civil contractor with more than 20 years of experience. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative who will drive revenue, deepen market relationships, and support continued growth.
This position is responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships with government agencies and industry partners, developing capture strategies, and helping secure new construction contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the management team to understand the company’s core values and promote them to prospective business leads.
- Network with federal agencies, prime contractors and teaming partners for potential project opportunities.
- Maintain and strengthen existing business relationships.
- Continuously monitor all bid platforms, procurement websites, agency forecasts and industry sources for potential project opportunities.
- Aggressively seek out diverse groups of decision makers to promote the construction capabilities of the company.
- Attend Networking events, meetings, and project site visits.
- Daily support and communication with the Estimator and Project Manager.
Requirements:
- - Proven experience in business development of federal, state and commercial contract acquisition
- - Knowledge of the bidding and contracting process
- - Proficiency with Microsoft Office to organize data and track performance
- Ability to manage confidential client information with accuracy and professionalism
- - Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and lead‑generation methods
- - Strong organizational skills to balance outreach, follow‑ups, scheduling and documentation.
- - Existing relationships within USACE, Air Force, FAA, tribal entities, federal prime contractors and federal agencies preferred.
- - Ability to travel as needed.
