Mission: The Commercialization Associate is a key support role responsible for coordinating and managing the execution of both private label and branded product launches, packaging transitions and commercialization processes. Serving as primary liaison for key internal and external partners, the associate is responsible for managing timelines, validating technical data, and identifying issues that may impact launch readiness, and will communicate directly with external customer teams to resolve problems and drive forward progress. The role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable navigating ambiguity to find solutions and move projects forward.
Key Result Areas/Time Utilization
1. Packaging, Label & Commercialization Project Support - 50%
2. Commercial Setup & Information Coordination - 30%
3. Cross-Functional Process Support & Coordination - 10%
4. Personal Development & Miscellaneous - 10%
Position Requirements
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma, required. Bachelor’s degree, highly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant CPG experience in project coordination or marketing/sales support. A bachelor’s degree and 2 years of CPG sales or marketing experience involving customer project-related work may be substituted for the required experience.
- Exposure to new product launches, item setup, or packaging management is a plus.
Skills/Knowledge/Ability:
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Professional maturity and confidence in external-facing communications
- Strong communication both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and make informed decisions when priorities or inputs conflict
- Comfortable working with and reviewing technical data across systems, and determining when escalation is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office systems
- Experience working with marketing, brand management, retailer customers, brokers, and distributors
- 10% travel, required
