RN- Assisted Living

$95,000-115,000 Bonus
This role will improve the quality of resident care in an Assisted Living/Memory Care environment. This RN makes sure clinical staff follow federal and state regulations and nursing standards of care.
- Conduct on-site clinical audits: resident records, care plans, medication administration, and med carts
- Run mock surveys and help communities prepare for state surveys and complaint investigations
- Lead plans of correction after surveys and track issues through resolution
- Monitor clinical metrics (falls, hospitalizations, weight loss, incidents) and build action plans with community teams
- Support clinical investigations and root-cause analysis
- Train and mentor nurses and Med Techs; conduct competency checks
- Review and co-sign resident assessments and move-in assessments as needed
- Help develop and update clinical policies and procedures
- Oversee infection control and risk management practices
- Report findings and trends to operations and corporate leadership
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BSN required
- Current CPR certification
- Long-term care / assisted living experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations and the survey/complaint survey process
- IV/venipuncture skills and knowledge of emergency procedures
- Proficient with electronic health records, databases, and general computer tools
- Strong written and verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
- Organized, manages time well, handles multiple priorities
