Accounting Manager

$90-120k plus bonus
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Plant Accounting Manager to support the financial operations of a manufacturing company based in Brockton, MA. This role is responsible for day-to-day transactional accounting, inventory accounting, and timely financial reporting to ensure accurate plant-level financial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day transactional accounting activities, including AP/AR support and account reconciliations
- Prepare and post routine journal entries and assist with month-end close
- Maintain accurate inventory accounting, including tracking inventory movements, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Support plant financial reporting and assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and performance reports
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs and support operational teams with financial insights
- Ensure accuracy of financial data within the ERP system and support process improvements
- Assist with audits and other ad hoc financial analysis as needed
Qualifications
- 4 years of accounting experience
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Solid experience working with ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
