Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning company objectives with employees and management. The position formulates partnerships across all HR functions to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the company. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy of the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service to team members and management, answering questions, guiding, and assist in finding information and solutions
- Knowledgeable and Assist in all HR functions
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to company management (e.g., coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions).
- Provide HR partnership, for strategic and tactical initiatives, daily HR support and execution of strategies for assigned business groups.
- Builds and maintains effective working relationships with leaders and employees to provide guidance and counsel on a variety of HR and business-related issues on both strategic and tactical levels
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Assist Management with Evaluating staffing needs and assist with Recruiting needs when necessary
- Partners with Payroll/HRIS and Compensation and Benefits functions
- Partners with Leadership to maintain and improve company core values and mission statement
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and remain on task
- Practice and promote teamwork.
- Other assignments as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
Preference for some post-secondary education, or at least 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
