We are seeking a proactive Salon Host / Hostess to support our front desk and daily salon flow.
About the Role
The Salon Host / Hostess is the first and last impression for guests. This role blends front desk duties with hands-on salon support to keep the day running smoothly. You'll greet guests, manage appointments and checkout, and help with light salon upkeep—ensuring our stylists can stay focused on their clients.
This is not a stylist or assistant position, and no cosmetology license is required. Training is provided.
What You'll Do
Guest Experience & Front Desk
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and check them in/out
- Answer phone calls, text messages, and basic appointment questions
- Process retail purchases, add-ons, and payments
- Support guests throughout their appointment and create a welcoming environment
Salon Support
- Light tidying throughout the day to keep the salon guest-ready
- Put away clean color bowls, clips, brushes, and tools
- Restock towels, capes, foils, refreshments, and backbar items
- Reset stations and common areas between clients
- Stay on top of laundry/ folding laundry
- Notice what needs attention and take initiative to help
Who You Are
- Friendly, warm, and confident with people
- Proactive — you look around and know what needs to be done
- Organized and comfortable multitasking
- Comfortable with phones, computers, and basic checkout systems
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Able to be on your feet for most of your shift
Requirements
- Weekend availability required (Saturday)
- Part-time to start
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- No cosmetology experience necessary — training provided

Pay & Schedule
- Starting at $14/hour with potential to increase to a max of $15/hour
- Part-time, year-round
- Must be available during peak salon hours
