We are in the process of opening a licensed group home for youth . Our mission
is to provide a safe, structured, and supportive environment where children can heal, grow, and
succeed. We are seeking a qualified Administrator to join us at the ground level to help lead the
licensing process and oversee operations once licensed.
Position Overview
The Youth Group Home Administrator will play a critical role in both securing state licensing and
managing day-to-day operations once the home is active. This individual will ensure compliance with all
Ohio Department of Job & Family Services regulations, hire and supervise staff, and oversee all
administrative and care responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist ownership in completing the Ohio group home licensing process, including preparation of
policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the group home once licensed.
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff to provide high-quality youth care.
- Ensure all state regulations, licensing requirements, and agency policies are followed.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance paperwork.
- Collaborate with case managers, guardians, and outside agencies to support youth needs.
- Lead by example, creating a safe and supportive environment for staff and residents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field.
- Must meet Ohio credentialing requirements to serve as a Group Home Administrator.
- Experience working with youth in residential or group care required.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Ohio group home licensing regulations strongly preferred.
- Must successfully pass all required background checks, including FBI and state background checks.Compensation
