Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. Candidate must be completed with trade school and have their diploma. Minimum trade school requirements are at least nine months in duration.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Conduct field service calls to assess customer needs and provide solutions.
- Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
- Collaborate with construction teams for HVAC design and installation projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work performed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Must be available for on-call rotation.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC design.
- Ability to operate tools such as an multi-meter for electrical diagnostics.
- Competence in equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Welding skills are beneficial for certain repair tasks.
- Previous experience as a service technician is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic dispatching and paperless invoicing a plus.
