Job description:
The Retail Sales Associate position at the Jeremy Store is the most important job in our company. As a Retail Sales Associate, you are the face of the Jeremy Store to our customers and have the opportunity to pleasantly greet and provide outstanding customer service.
The Jeremy Store is a daily destination for people on the go for fuel, snacks, fast food, and friendly greetings. Our Sales Associates must possess a curiosity and eagerness to solve the customers’ needs, develop and foster long-term, trusting relationships, and share a friendly smile that stays with our customers throughout the day. To ensure your success, you will be supported with a training program and great staff to help you achieve great results. You will have the opportunity to develop your communication skills, detail orientation and to build on your natural talents and strengths in a high-energy environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a friendly atmosphere in assisting customers.
- Sell merchandise and interact with customers according to The Jeremy Store's standards.
- Receive, check, and shelve merchandise; keep store clean and uncluttered.
- Complete customer transactions using POS register system.
- Perform register store open/close functions.
- Be willing to cross-train, and help out in Subway, or Pizza Hut if needed.
- This position would need to be available to fill either morning or evening for the Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday shifts.
Job Specifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age. Basic English and Math skills to count, add, and subtract. Strong interpersonal skills and ethical behavior to manage the company's assets. Excellent customer service skills to develop a relationship-selling culture. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
