Pay Range
- Hourly rate: $38.00 - $50.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Monthly bonuses: Potential to earn monthly bonuses through our Technician Incentive Plan! Bonus amounts are calculated based on billed hours, efficiency, and productivity.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 40 hours per week plus overtime
- Day schedule (7:30 am start times, or earlier depending on demand)

Responsibilities
As a Golf & Turf Diesel Service Technician, you will be:
- Servicing John Deere equipment and other merchandise offered for sale by the dealership.
- Performing basic and complex diagnostics independently and solving basic and complex technical issues.
- Performing pre-delivery inspection on all types of equipment and other merchandise offered for sale by the dealership.
- Operating and maintaining vehicles, tools, and equipment required in the set-up and delivery process.
- Following all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
- Completing all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments.
- Accounting for all time and materials used in performing assigned duties.
- Participating in Service Education Training programs is required for the development of skills and knowledge.
- Maintaining a clean work area and performing work in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 4-7 years of experience (or equivalent) performing service repairs.
- Sound knowledge of engines, hydraulics, power-trans, air-conditioning, and electrical systems as they apply to machines marketed by the Dealership.
- Supplied with own tools and toolbox
- Ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and set-up processes.
- Ability to assemble machinery components and to follow the manufacturer’s pre-delivery instructions.
- Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
- Ability to maintain labor performance and billable hours according to Service Leaders.
- Knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment, a plus.
