Pay Range
- Hourly rate: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities
As a Field Diesel Service Technician, you will be:
- Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products.
- Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
- Performs diagnosis and repair in the field as required.
- Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians.
- Conducts or supports customer clinics.
- Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
- Maintains the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
- Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
- Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.
- Participate in the on-call program.

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 5 years of experience (or equivalent) performing service repairs.
- 3 years servicing heavy equipment
- Ability to perform complex repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures.
- Ability to maintain labor performance and billable hours according to Service Leaders.
- Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
- Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
- Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs
- Supplied with own tools
- Valid driver's license required
