What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Advisor position at Belknap Subaru?
As part of our continued growth we are looking for a dedicated and passionate Counter Salesperson. You will be responsible for providing a high level of service to all walk-in contact, phone contact customers, technicians, and other internal and external customers.
You will also be responsible for:
Pulling and filling orders from stock
Replenishes assigned inventory daily
Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order
Follows up on back-ordered parts
Notifies the service advisors and technicians when special ordered parts have been received
Create purchase orders
Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary
Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
Solicit new accounts using every means available to seek out new business
Rebuilds old accounts by researching former customer listings
Assumes other duties are assigned

A strong customer service background and prior automotive experience with knowledge of automotive parts desired. Must be able to apply common sense understanding when carrying out instructions as well as problem solve effectively. Must have at least 2 years of dealership experience using Auto/Mate.
