What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial Team Member position at Belknap Landscape Company, Inc.?
The Janitorial Services Team Member to support the cleanliness and overall appearance of our commercial properties. This role focuses on maintaining parking lots, walkways, and building exteriors, along with performing light office cleaning and occasional dump runs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform daily trash and debris pickup in parking lots, sidewalks, and exterior areas of assigned commercial properties
- Complete light office cleaning, including washing, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal
- Conduct dump runs as needed
- Identify and report any property maintenance issues
- Follow company safety procedures and operate vehicles responsibly
- Maintain a consistent 7-day work schedule, averaging 20–25 hours per week
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
Physical & Other Requirements:
- Clean and valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
This is a part-time position in both interior and exterior work locations. Local travel is required for operational tasks.
Hours/Shifts: Daily, flexible hours to be performed between the hours of 9:00pm and 8:00am. Includes weekends.
