The Crew Members at Belknap Landscape are responsible for the comprehensive installation of living elements of outdoor spaces such as, trees, shrubs, flowers, grass and garden beds across both residential and commercial properties. Their duties include but are not limited to planting, preparing soil and laying sod. We will train the right candidates!
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and ground cover according to landscape plans
- Prepare soil by grading, tilling, and adding compost or mulch
- Lay sod and perform lawn establishment tasks
- Operate landscaping equipment such as shovel, rakes, wheelbarrows
- Load and unload plants, soil, and landscaping materials
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Ensure safety regulations and standards compliance
- General landscaping duties
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
- Must be able to operate general maintenance equipment and vehicles
- The ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to your team
- A strong work ethic and demonstrated reliability
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetic
PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Regularly exposed to extreme temperatures and various weather conditions
- Frequently required to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of items exceeding 50 pounds.
- Often required to reach above and below shoulder level.
- Frequent hand manipulation is needed for grasping, handling objects, and operating controls.
- Frequent bending and squatting, with occasional twisting and kneeling.
